Data Analyst/ DJ Indexes (Beijing)

Position Description:

• Research corporate actions and stock price trends for China stock market on a daily basis.
• Research and analyze financial market and corporate data from various sources.
• Provide market and index data and prepare analytical reports for clients.
• Under supervision, perform regular index reviews to ensure that indices remain representative of the market.
• Perform analytic tasks on financial market data and related information using statistical methodologies.
• Create, construct and implement index selection methodologies and calculate final index results.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics or Economics preferred
• Advanced degree or equivalent work experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English required
• Ability to work efficiently, with strong initiative and under pressure
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Must be detail-oriented and team-oriented
• Adequate knowledge of global and Chinese financial market
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel required
• Familiarity with a database preferred
